Welcome to the Wellbeing Club @ PLACE!

Wellbeing – the state of being comfortable, healthy or happy

We all need this.

“I love my cycle to work in the mornings and evenings (so long as it doesn’t rain). It gives me 25 minutes of relaxation on the way to work and on the way home, where my mind wanders. On the way it sets me for a day of work and on the way home allows me time to relax before getting home. I feel fortunate and grateful to be able to cycle to and from work, to have this time to myself.

The Wellbeing Club is an experiment to see if the team are keen to participate in a new activity or provide support to continue an existing activity in your own time outside of work. Its purpose is to provide opportunity for everyone to have space and time to themselves – allow minds to open up! This is the best place for ideas to form!

You will be able to claim the cost of various sports and recreational activities through PLACE each calendar year. For example, if you attend a yoga class you could claim the cost of this back. We would encourage you to continue existing activities or maybe this could be an opportunity to try something new….?!

The Wellbeing Club is a new initiative for all to enjoy!  We believe in the complementary aspects of both physical and mental wellbeing and so we make sure to focus on both “Body” and “Mind”.
