The new Travelodge Hotel at Colchester opened its doors in July 2024. The hotel has been developed to Travelodge’s new budget luxe premium look and feel design. The hotel’s landscape design includes seasonal planting and wildflowers, enhancing the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, the building features a green roof, promoting biodiversity and contributing to a healthier environment. One of the standout features of the site is its eco-friendly pond. This seasonal pond will fluctuate throughout the year, supporting nearby wildflower habitats and plants by providing a self-sustaining cycle of hydration, eliminating the need for additional watering.
