Polesden Lacey - Surrey
This project was commissioned by the National Trust and included the creation of a landscape and visual impact assessment and planning for the relocation of the main car park at Polesden Lacey, an Edwardian house and estate set amongst the beautiful rolling Surrey Hills.
The project included the design for a new entrance driveway, new footpaths, entry courtyards, car park and the restoration and replanting of the old car park as an orchard. The work involved careful integration of these new visitor facilities with important listed buildings and discrete alterations within an historic landscape.
