Historic Dockyard Chatham - Kent
The Historic Dockyard is a maritime museum on part of the site of the former royal/naval dockyard at Chatham in Kent. This award-winning public space forms the entrance to the dockyard. The design created a new setting for the Bell Mast, a Scheduled Ancient Monument, and linked into the regeneration of Chatham Maritime.
The project required working closely with English Heritage and the Historic Dockyard Trust on the landscape design. The project was awarded the Institute of Civil Engineers SE Merit Award.
